Here are some pictures from our recent trip to Hawaii...I will try again to download pictures...hope this works
The one on the right is of our first morning at Waikiki Beach. It was a beautiful sunrise and we were on FL time so it was like 11:00 am our time but 6:00 am Hawaii time. We were pretty excited to be on this amazing adventure. It was a great trip.

The picture to the far left is of a Pearl Harbor Survivor, he shared his story at the Arizona Memorial. His experiences during the attack on Pearl Harbor, where he was very critically wounded, was very powerful but even more powerful was how he and the ranger he is standing with in the picture were very influential in organizing a reconciliation ceremony with the Japanese pilots who were involved in the attack. The two of them headed up a ceremony that was held at the time of the 60th anniversary of the attack. They felt that it was very important that as these men came to the end of their lives that they were able to forgive and be forgiven so they could die in peace about this time in their lives. It was a very moving and powerful testimony.
I will try and post more later but this will be the first try. Thanks for reading along!
